Frank Lampard is starting to get worried about one of his main players in N'Golo Kante. The midfielder has been through a lot of stress over the past four years thanks to the insane amount of games he has played for Leicester, Chelsea and France in their successful trophy filled campaigns.

The French international has been actively playing for the last four years, and it's starting to take a toll on his body, according to The Sun. The reports further adds that Kante has played consistently since his title-winning season with Leicester City, including during his supposed pre-season break.

Yet the 28-year-old has managed to stay fit but injuries have now started taking a toll on the midfielder. With international duty coming next week, Frank Lampard has asked France boss Didier Deschamps to spare the midfielder, and allow him to recover.

"It is a difficult one because he has had four years of constantly playing. The injury from the Europa League final has affected his pre-season and then he hurt himself against Man Utd. The international break will be great for him to get the injury right. It would be great for everybody [if Kante stays] because he’s been playing game after game after game," said Lampard, reports the Sun.

It's up now to Deschamps and France's medical staff to analyze the situation and see what's best for the team and the player as it could have a big impact for the future.
