Deepak Malik scored a century alongside Sunil, who put up a half-century, as India managed a competitive total of 236/2 in their 20 overs. Batting second, Sri Lanka could only manage 202 runs for the loss of nine wickets trailing the five-match series 2-0.

The Indian blind cricket team has won the triangular series after beating Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the final in Goa. India skipper Ajay Reddy was adjudged Man of the Final for his bowling efforts against the Lankans in the final game of the series which also involved England.

Bishan Singh Bedi has shown his support for the Indian Blind cricket team by urging the BCCI to recognize the Cricket Association for the Blind in India. Bedi also praised the blind cricketers stating that even though they don’t have eyesight, they have a vision to inspires millions of people.

Sachin Tendulkar has shown his support for the India blind cricket team by asking the BCCI to recognize the Cricket Association for the Blind in India. In a letter to the BCCI, Tendulkar asked the board to include the cricketers under the BCCI pension scheme for their long-term security.

India registered a 7-wicket domineering win over Pakistan in the Blind Cricket World Cup group stages as they chased a target of 283 with five overs to spare. Deepak Malik was India’s hero once again as his 79 runs from 71 balls alongside Venkateshwara Rao steered the side to a comfortable victory.
