World doubles squash C'ship | Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal start on a winning note
India's top doubles pair and top seed Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal began their campaign on a positive note with two pool league wins on the opening day of the WSF world doubles squash championship in Melbourne on Monday. They beat teams from Malaysia and Australia in straight-sets.
The Indian pair defeated Malaysia's number one pair, the Arnold sisters Delia and Rachel and then followed it up with a win over Australia 2 which comprises Sarah Cardwell and Christine Nunn. The mixed doubles also brought good news for India with
The reverse for India came in the men's doubles where Harinder and Ramit Tandon lost two matches to Australia 1 and Colombia 1.
