The Indian mixed team won the keenly-contested final on Thursday as Moudgil and Panwar edged past the Chinese shooters Liu Ruxuan and Yang Haoran. The Chinese duo had a two-point lead with 13-11 when the Indians had called a time-out. Both of them came back strong after that and managed to gain two more points to level the scores at 13-13.
China had again taken a lead but eventually, the Indian pair managed to grab the gold medal by winning it 17-15. Russia’s Yulia Karimova and Grigorii Shamakov finished at the third position in the same event.
