In the lastest turn of events in the KPL match-fixing scandal, Bengaluru police confirmed on Friday that a charge sheet had been filed against sixteen people, including cricketers CM Gautam and Abrar Kazi. In November, Gautam and Kazi were arrested for allegedly fixing matches in KPL 2019.

The BCCI and the ICC have reached out to Bengaluru Police and have offered them full support in finding out the culprits behind the betting scandal of the Karnataka Premier League (KPL). Many names like CM Gautam and Arbar Kazzi have been come out in the open that are related to the scandal.
