In the wake of Duleep Trophy losing its relevance, Sachin Tendulkar hopes that Sourav Ganguly would bring back the glory days back to the tournament. The legendary cricketer has also added that cricket has always been a team sport and any compromise with that aspect would kill the element of it.

Faiz Fazal-led India Blue currently lead by a massive margin of 231 runs against India Red at the end of Day Two of the final of the 2018 Duleep Trophy which is being played at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul. The Reds were bowled out for 182 runs in the first innings and are currently on 125/5.

Jammu & Kashmir off-spinner, Parvez Rasool was at his best in the second match of the Duleep trophy as he picked up four wickets in the first innings to restrict India Blue to 293. Dhruv Shorey fought back for the Blue’s as he put on stunning display in the second innings to end with a score of 97.

On the second day of the second Duleep Trophy game, India Blue batsman Dhruv Shorey went on to score an unbeaten 86 to take his side to 183/5 with a deficit of 133 runs against India Red. Earlier in the day, the Reds could manage to add only 60 runs to their overnight score and folded up for 316.
