Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav is set to represent India C in the upcoming Duleep Trophy starting tomorrow in Anantapur. Surya had to skip the initial two rounds of the Duleep Trophy because he was undergoing rehabilitation for a thumb injury at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

‌The 34-year-old right-handed batsman will bring power to India C's batting lineup, who defeated India D in the first game by four wickets and took the first-innings lead against India B in the second match. In the meantime, Suryakumar sustained a thumb injury while representing Mumbai in the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament in Coimbatore.

Suryakumar's comeback is positive for Team India because he will now participate in the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh. Following the two-game Test series beginning Thursday in Chennai, India and Bangladesh will compete in up to three T20Is. The first match of the series is set for October 6 in Gwalior, with the following two games to be held in Delhi and Hyderabad on October 9 and 12, respectively.

At the same time, the Indian cricketer posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption, "Heading to Anantapur next." The image clearly showed that Surya is prepared to participate in the Duleep Trophy game tomorrow.
