The mark of a great bowler isn't just in delivering perfect balls, but in bouncing back stronger when the conditions get worse. The atmosphere at Lucknow's Ekana Stadium was electric as Punjab's Rahul Chahar claimed Marcus Stoinis, who had hammered Chahar for two consecutive sixes.

The Ekana ground in Lucknow was decked up for its inaugural home game as LSG’s stand-in skipper Nicholas Pooran won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock aimed to give the home team a strong start but the former's cameo of 15 runs off nine balls ended in the fourth over. LSG continued to face setbacks within the powerplay as Devdutt Padikkal fell in the sixth over. Despite de Kock and Marcus Stoinis stabilizing the innings, reaching 54/2 by the end of the powerplay, the momentum shifted when Punjab's Rahul Chahar intervened.

In the eighth over, emotions ran high as Stoinis unleashed two massive sixes against Chahar, exploiting two poorly executed deliveries, one in the slot and the other a half-tracker. However, Chahar swiftly retaliated with a quicker delivery aimed at the leg stump, catching Stoinis off-guard as he attempted another big shot. Unfortunately for Stoinis, misjudging the googly, the ball did not clip the bat or pad as it crashed onto the leg stump to uproot it. Chahar's jubilant reaction, punching the air in celebration, was mirrored by the Punjab team's appreciation for the brilliant delivery.

The cricketing community took to Twitter immediately, buzzing with discussions about Chahar's impressive delivery and its impact on the game.
