The introduction of the T20 format in cricket has acted as the peak of entertainment in the cricket realm. And players like Nicholas Pooran are one of the brand ambassadors of it as the southpaw struck three consecutive sixes against RCB with one of them being a stadium exiting 106 meter hit.

Luck favoured RCB captain Faf du Plessis during the toss as he chose to field first against Lucknow Super Giants in the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, the RCB bowlers were not brave enough inside the powerplay, leaking 54 runs. Although they tried to pull things back, the LSG overseas stars teed them apart with Nicholas Pooran’s gargantuan 106-meter six being one of the showstoppers in the first innings.

Already being dropped on the third ball of the 17th over off Reece Topley, Pooran made full use of the chance. When Topley returned for his last over in the 19th over, the Caribbean star smashed three back-to-back sixes with the last one landing on the roof. Topley dished a slower bumper that sat up well for the southpaw on the fourth delivery of the over. Pooran whacked across the line with disdain and surprisingly the white rock sailed all the way over deep mid-wicket and thudded at the roof of Chinnaswamy.

Right after, the big screen showed that it was a 106-meter gigantic hit, and the Twitterverse went into a frenzy.
