Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya might be a part of the upcoming season of Tamil Nadu Premier League. Last season, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association were not allowed to feature outstation players registered to TNCA in the lineup, but this year the players can be included by means of a player draft.

The inaugural season of Tamil Nadu Premier League(TNPL) was marred by a controversy when BCCI disallowed the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association(TNCA) to include outstation players registered under TNCA to feature in the TNPL.

The TNCA finally found a way to let big names, apart from the cricketers from Tamil Nadu, to feature in the league and that is by the way of a player draft. The league will commence in July later this year and the TNCA registered outstation players have a provision to register themselves for the player draft which will be held in the second week of July.

"We are opening the registrations for the draft from May 6. Though TNCA registered outstation players didn't feature last time, they can register for the TNPL draft and we will include them in the list. We are figuring out on how to go about it," the source told TOI on Thursday.

The big names registered with the TNCA does not end with the Pandya brothers but also features leg-spinner, Piyush Chawla, Kings XI Punjab's Sandeep Sharma, Gujarat Lions' speedster Basil Thampi, Delhi batsman Unmukt Chand, India U-19 captain Abhishek Sharma, Punjab all-rounder Gurkeerat Mann, and Delhi Daredevils latest inclusion Ankit Bawane.

The players can register themselves for the league by filling the form till the 10th of June which is available at the TNCA office.

The players released by the franchises last year and fresh players registered with the TNCA are eligible for filling the form.
