GAME, SET AND MATCH, ATLETICO MADRID!! That's it. Football at it's best. If there ever was an advertisement for football, it would be this game over two legs. The league champions vs the side in transition but goodness me, this was something. A masterclass from Atletico Madrid and the Reds lose a brilliantly fought game.

I can't believe this is happening. Three weeks ago Liverpool had an invisible league title in the making, and a treble on the cards. Now, they might just get the league title and while that's brilliant, it's football, isn't it? Unpredictable, wild and majestic till the very end..

Joao Felix is struggling to play now and that will see Alvaro Morata replace the Portuguese striker who gets a rousing applause from the away fans. Not so much for Morata, the former Chelsea man, and he walks into the game to a silent stadium. Away fans that is as the home fans have simply not stopped singing in the hopes of building their side back up.

Roberto Firmino's header hit the post, but he sidefooted the rebound home. At the other end, a horrible kick from Adrian landed to Joao Felix, who fed Marcos Llorente to punish the mistake. Three minutes between the goals. And the tie can’t go to penalties

PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!! EXTRA TIME IS OFF AND RUNNING.

For those of you that don't know, we'll get 30 more minutes of extra time before the game goes to penalties. The rules are still the same, a goal for Atletico will see Liverpool need two to win and so on and so forth.

GAME, SET AND MATCH, PSG!! PSG are through to the next round after a brilliant second leg against an abject Dortmund side. Neymar and Angel di Maria via Juan Bernat are the ones who put PSG ahead and Dortmund never looked like threatening this PSG side. Issues for the Germans? It might be and we have questions to ask. For now, over to the Liverpool game.

Still Dortmund with the ball but this game is over. They don't look like they might score against PSG despite history being in their favour. But it's not over until it's over and this might be over.

FULL TIME AND WE'RE GOING TO EXTRA TIME.

As the other game, takes time off to prepare for extra time, this game is still on. Remember one goal takes them to extra-time here as well but at the moment there's about two and a half minutes left of added time. Not good for Dortmund but they've been second best and incase you missed it Mario Gotze replaced Achraf Hakimi just before the Can nonsense.

That kerfuffle got out of hand a little but replays show that Can pushed Neymar to the floor and that's a red card all day long. Neymar does get a yellow card, and he's joined by Mariquinhos and Di Maria (on the bench) who all find their way on the book.

Two minutes left before extra time in England and Dortmund are looking to force the same in France. Clearly not working and a kerfuffle breaks out in France as Emre Can gets knocked around by a PSG man and everybody joins in. Referee doesn't give a toss about the fight and has already handed out a yellow card to Can.

Dortmund with the ball but they don't look like scoring. They're moving it nicely but that's about it from the men in yellow with PSG looking dangeorus everytime they charge forward. One goal, that's all Dortmund need to force extra time here. Just a goal.

Ten minutes left and Atletico are growing into this tie. They're finally doing more offensively and that is opening spaces defensively that has caused a few problems for the visitors. Liverpool exploit any issues well as James Milner walks on with Oxlade-Chamberlain being replaced.

Minutes later and Dortmund are set to make another change tonight and it's a wonderfully positive move from Lucien Favre. That's Giovani Reyna for those who don't know and much like Sancho, Hakimi, and Haaland, the kid's rather good. Axel Witsel the man replaced and he looked like he was limping as he walked off the field.

Change for Dortmund and Julian Brandt is on, with Throgan Hazard the man replaced. The Belgian has been one of the better players this season but not tonight. Simply not his night tonight.

ANDY ROBERTSON ON HIS BIRTHDAY HAS MISSED A SITTER!! THE chance flew at the left-back in an instant, after Mo Salah's deflected shot, but he knocks it up against the bar and seems insanely shocked that he did that. Hell, the full back had already started off on his celebration run, along with the rest of Anfield, but had to cut it short.

Change for PSG as Mbappe walks on, with Pablo Sarabia that man walking off. This could change things for Dortmund, who've looked like they may never create a chance even if handed a year of playing time. That needs to change and PSG might have just made the change that helps them do that.

Thanks for the assist but yes, chances have been spurned. First Bobby Firmino with a chance to put this tie beyond Atleti but the striker tries and volleys a tame shot from a gorgeous position into Oblak. Easy save and that breaks into Adrian making a complete meal of Joao Felix's shot and getting himself there in time, by a second, to stop the rebound.

Still cagey things happening here but Dortmund have the ball and they're hoping to try and make something here. Meanwhile, we move to Liverpool, where chances have been squandered twice by either side!!

That's the end of Diego Costa's night and he's serenaded by home fans with a song that I just can't seem to decipher. Either way, it's a striker for a midfielder and Marcos Llorente finds himself on the field and immediately has to do some defending. Maybe, that's why the change has been made. 

Liverpool’s relentlessness is starting to wear Atletico down and because Atleti are defending so deep, it's causing a few problems for their offensive moves. Which is non-existent at the moment and that really needs to change, because Liverpool are growing and growing rapidly.

PSG stroke the ball about now and they look confident. They feel confident and Dortmund may just be shrinking just a little bit now and they need someone to grow into this game, take charge and pull them out of this hole. Time for ol Jadon Sancho and/or Erling Haaland or one of the other stars to prove themselves?

MAJESTIC CHANCE BUT WHAT A SAVE FROM OBLAK!! Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the heart of everything again and he breaks Atleti's offside trap. It finds Sadio Mane, in acres of space, and he fires first time but Oblak is there and bloody hell, he reacts in an instant. IT's why he's one of the best in the world but the offside flag is eventually raised.

It's level on aggregate, which means that either side needs a goal to walk away with a win. The only problem? IF Atleti scores, then Liverpool need two over and above the one they already have to circumvent the away goal. If Atleti scores two, then Liverpool need three over and above the one and so on..

Dortmund have a mountain to climb but they have the front-line to do it and they've done it before, unless you've forgotten about the first leg. On that day, Erling Haaland rose and became a viral sensation yet again. Can he do it again? More importantly, can Dortmund?

Only three to talk about as we enter half-time but it's three majestic goals. Dortmund created their own problems in France but Atleti vs Liverpool have been rather wonderful. Interesting things are happening in both games and two sides need to find their mojo.

ANFIELD ERUPTS. GINI WIJNALDUM CELEBRATES. AND LIVERPOOL ARE BACK!! This game has taken a turn, but Oxalde Chamberlain is once again at the heart of the move. The midfielder is covered by two Atleti men but fires the cross in and Wijnaldum hits his header into the floor and it finds the net. No chance for Jan Oblak there and that puts the tie back in it.

Virgil Van Dijk has looked off pace for once tonight. NOt mistakes as such, but he hasn't been his usual calm and utterly brilliant self in a while and that has played a part in Liverpool's defensive struggles. Far too many games or is it another issue at play? Either way, it doesn't matter because his battle with Diego Costa is majestic.

Two players at the opposite end of their careers in a battle that will define the game. Too much? It's worth it.

Sorry to leave this game for a while but there was a lot in the other one. But that's no excuse and this game has changed since the goal. The tempo has taken a step up, Dortmund look more confident but PSG are doing their bit to keep them at bay. The tide has clearly changed but as Jadon Sancho fluffs another half half-decent chance, the men in yellow need something else.

CHANCE AND JAN OBLAK WITH THE SAVE AGAIN!! Liverpool are in the ascendancy and they need to make the most of it. They're breaking Atleti slowly and with half-time around the bend, the Reds need to do it before the away side gets a chance to regroup. Corner comes to nothing, Atleti break and Henderson concedes a foul. Tactical fouling at it's best.

Oh, and Thomas Partey has been outstanding so far. Liverpool's midfield not playing badly, but his positioning is superb.

Atleti are irking Liverpool themselves with their little Mourinho moments, as they waste time with throw ins, weird calls for hand-ball and even corners. Boos ring about Anfield, so you know just how much the home fans are loving it. Hint, they're not.

Atleti haven't had the ball too much here but when they've had it, they've looked for good ol Joao Felix and the Portuguese has looked bright. That's irked Jordan Henderson and he concedes a foul after opting to teach the kid a lesson by upending him. Felix is down and looks injured but jumps back up and we've got a game here. A tough, hard-tackling and nonsense one.
