2013 Season

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a great debut season in 2013 as in just their first season, they made it to the playoffs in the league. They finished at the fourth spot in the points table and secured 10 wins in the 16 matches that they played. However, they lost to Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator and finished their tournament in fourth position. This season was one of the best season for them as they qualified for the Playoffs in just the first try.

2014 Season

2016 Season

They finished in the third position in the points table and then went on to win the Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the Finals to get their hands on the trophy. 2017 Season

After a successful 2016 IPL season, Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a heartbreak as they failed to defend their IPL title. In the 2017 season, they qualified for the playoffs as they finished at the third position in the points table again. However, they got defeated by Kolkata Knight Riders in the eliminator and hence were knocked out of the tournament. In this season, Hyderabad failed to defend their title and hence it ended as a disappointment for them which led them to come back harder in the next season.

2018 Season

In the 2018 IPL season, Sunrisers Hyderabad was led by a new captain, Kane Williamson. David Warner was banned because of his involvement in the Ball-Tampering Scandal. But, Kane Williamson handled the role perfectly as he led his team into the Finals of the 2018 season. However, they lost the Finals against Chennai Super Kings and suffered a heartbreak. 2019 Season

In the 2019 season, Sunrisers Hyderabad finished in the fourth spot in the points table. In the 14 games that they played in the league stage, they were able to win only six and became the first team to qualify for the Playoffs with just 12 points. This season, they became the first team to qualify for the playoffs despite having just 12 points in the league stage and it acted as a surprise for many teams out there.

2020 Season

In the 2020 IPL season, Sunrisers Hyderabad again qualified for the playoffs as they finished in the third position in the points table. In the 14 matches that they played in the league stage, they managed to win 7 and lost the other 7. 2021 Season
